Dr. Corsair graduated from Brooklyn College with a degree in Chemistry. He attended New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry and received a D.M.D. degree. He then served as a dental officer in the Navy for 2 years before attending N.Y.U. College of Dentistry where he received a certificate in periodontics. Dr. Corsair became board certified in periodontics as a diplomate of the american board of periodontology. He has also been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists.
Dr. Corsair has spent many years in his clinical practice in Rockville Centre treating thousands of patients with implants, hard and soft tissue grafts and many other surgical procedures. He has also taken time to serve the dental community as chief of periodontics at North Shore Hospital where he was also the surgical coordinator for the implant fellowship program. Dr. Corsair is a clinical assistant professor of periodontics at SUNY Stony Brook.
Dr. Corsair has published over a dozen scientific papers as well as a book. He has lectured across the country on topics related to implant surgery and periodontics. He has presented several papers at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Periodontology.

Dr. Corsair was a high school chemistry teacher and track coach before going to dental school. He served 2 years in the Navy before becoming a periodontist.
His hobbies have included golf and running. He has completed 9 marathons and hundreds of other races. He plans to continue running and practicing periodontics forever.
